To the Beach for St. Patricks Day

AP took me to the beach today. She said we should go somewhere for St. Patty's day so off to the beach we went.
While we were there she took the cover off the camper while I supervised.

When she got finished we went into town and down to the end of the boardwalk and parked so I could go down to the surf. It was the first time I had been all the way to the water in over a year. It took some doing to drag the wheels through the sand but we made it.

 The wind gave me lots of good things to smell...

and I met a new friend named Ray.

Post Sandy (back to the beach)

Since I never got to "see" Sandy but everyone kept talking about her. I was excited when AP said we were going back to the beach to see what she had done there. So last Sunday we loaded up my wheels and Aunt Carol and headed out.

When we got there there were leaves and sticks and prickly pine cones everywhere. AP and Aunt carol put me on the porch and started raking up all the stuff. They filled 9 big bags with stuff.

AP made the mistake of letting me off the porch once there was a little path and I headed off down to find my friend Wally. He wasn't home and AP had to come retrieve me, she wasnt happy that I took off.

Then we headed into town to see what Sandy had been up to there.

We stopped by to see Rick and I got cookies....

Of Feet and Friends

My right leg is making my foot drag and scuff which is no fun. I went to the Beach for the weekend but couldn't go anywhere because I am not walking very well.
My friend Tootsie came to see and that cheered me up a little.

AP sat outside with me on on the deck and told me about the different cloud shapes in the sky.

When we got home Nala came over but I didn't feel like playing so we just hung out.

I can't even lift my foot enough for my boot so AP had me where her sock boot invention. You still have to use a piece of Duct tape to keep it from coming off.







Not a good weekend but I do have great friends.

Beach Friends

I got to go to the beach and Saturday night I hung out with my human friends Wally and Gwen and their granddaughter Sydney. We made Smores and I got to have a mini marshmallow. Sydney went with me for a walk and we went up on the jungle gym and since the slide was too steep for me she helped me get back down the steps by telling me where they were.
Sunday morning I went to the beach and ran into some old friends and made some new ones. AP took some video of me but missed me playing in the surf and I was really blippity blopping in the water.

Then we went and picked up breakfast from Robin Hood down on main street and after we ate we walked around and window shopped. I dragged AP and CM to Odysea to say hello to Rick but the store wasn't open yet. AP tried to get me to leave the door and I wouldnt it I wanted to wait and dug in and kept my nose to the door. She finally told me we would go get her coffee and come back so I agreed and when we came back the store was open but he wasn't working. I got some treats from his employee and laid down and took a little power nap while AP and CM shopped.

We walked around some more and I got to kiss a kid on the ear and met a 7 month old puppy named Mickey. Hopefully I will "see" Mickey again down on the beach and we can play.

I had a great weekend!

Back to the Beach 2011

I had such a busy weekend "down the ocean". I hung out on the new deck that CM had built for me, she calls it Tonka's playpen! It was constructed by JDG Construction Group Inc. http://www.jdgconstruction.net/ and I love it.The guys all had pizza for lunch and I got to have a little crust- yummy. I went for a walk with my girlfriend toots. AP thought she had a good picture of her put it didnt come out that well. We will have to get a new one next time we go. She lives with my good friends Wally and Gwen.

We went into town and I hung out with Rick at Odysea and met lots of kids and people. I also got my favorite cookies at Critter Beach.
It has been 6 weeks since the heart surgery so AP and CM took me to the beach to play. I love the beach and I was going blippity and bloppity all over the place. I was picking up sticks and throwing them and digging holes, it was so much fun.

I got to play with Auggie at the beach and his humans Lorri and Linds. We had a great time but it was very windy. Then we had breakfast at the bandstand and walked around window shopping until it started raining really hard. hopefully we can get together again soon.

Peanut

I met a new friend at the beach. His name is Peanut and I got down really low so that he would know I was a dog and not a bear because he is a little guy.

FUN!

I started off today playing on the beach wearing my new visor that Carolyn from http://carolynsoriginals.weebly.com/ made for me. It's really awesome an AP made me wear my sunglasses because it was really windy.

I had a great time chasing and attacking CM we played 1, 2, 3 and duck, duck, goose.

Then we had breakfast at the bandstand and went shopping. It is CM's birthday so we went to Silver Works because that is her favorite jewelry store. I like it there since I get to go in the store and hang out.

Then we went to Odysea to find me a new beach collar to go with my new visor. Rick was working and he and I are great friends. I always stop by to see him and say hello (and get a treat or 2).

I was so tired when we got home I didn't want to get out of the truck.
